throughout my entire life, ive never been to a soccer final though i've been playing it for dont know how long. it's been an amazing journey. i shall be a grandmama for now...

it's funny how i ended up playing soccer. heehee. i dont know how i ended up in soccer cca in primary sch. it was a mistake. oh well. but it really was like where the passion begun i guess? i remember how we would always play at the cage near sch and play soccer w rachel & my dad during the weekends.

so there wasnt soccer girls in holy high. but we had to fill in our cca records in pri sch and my form teacher who was in charge of soccer saw that i was in soccer & asked me to start a team. so another4 years of soccer in sec sch. though really i felt that it was like a recreational cca though. so i seriously have no idea how i got into u17 in sec3 cos i aint a v good soccer player. - seriously god's plan!

so i really grew as a player in u17 but kinda lacked skill for outfield cos i spent the whole time catching balls. heh. ( LOVE YOU ZHOU JIAO LIAN) then Olevels came and i didnt touch the ball for like 6months & i seriously lost touch. but miracles happen & somehow coach az got me to come for the finals 07.

it's really a miracle that i'm in vj considering how close i was in losing my place here since the many setbacks like my prelims & the PAE thingy. & i really wanna thank COACH & MR TAN for that. & im so ever grateful & will never forget the help of coach cos being in vjsg is one of the greatest happenings in my life! i've been so blessed by the team.

and thank you MR LIM for helping me get back into shape and for grooming me. it was really hard to adapt to his trg for the 1st month after the sudden change of a v diff way of coaching from zhou jiao lian.

so there u go! but anw, rlly wanna say sorry to the team & coaches for not keeping a clean sheet though cos that goal was such a silly mistake by me!): but i'm glad, so glad and happy that we got what we trained so hard for. i just broke down after ahbee(ref) blew ! every sacrifice was worth it.

now, its time to focus on nationals. league soon and AFC(hope)! &&&&& 08/09 season!

okay, so we were a little crazy during PW where Mr Sayers allowed us to do our own work.

9 more days to the start of season. it's great when training and matches all go well & seeing everybody giving in their best just makes everything worth while. i had this "dont know how to describe feeling" aft trg today cos i know that it was a great great one. & during the last drill i was so scared at first cos we were the last one but after that i realized that we did extra. but even then, i'm really really proud that vjsg have come this far, seeing us "beat" BAFC and all just really motivates me & bring me back to the very basic reason why i chose vj. coach's msg really encouraged me this morning and then i remember the letter he sent just before O's. ONE TEAM- it isnt just the players. MANY THANKS COACH!

okay, but i'm glad that CNY is like now. get a break, get some rest after the really crazy weeks i had. i hope i really do feel lightened up when monday comes & that i'll just put aside the worries & just go through each day with God's strength cos seriously, i think i'll peng if i rely on myself. hmmm. thinking back, since like sec3, there's never been a season where i've not been stress. just a matter of the level of stress. then again, i'm still surviving.

& i thought Mr Tan was one whole worry & stress by himself. but things turned out pretty good i must say. he was amazingly nice to me yst & i was kinda surprise after all the "trouble" i gave him. i just pray that i wont step on his toes by accident again!

wanna thank all who have helped me in o7 -teachers/friends/ALS+++++++GOD. cos i mean, really need to thank Him for not just my O's results but over all, my whole life. as in like i cant believe how amazing He does things. like, okay. how i even got into vj is a miracle by itself. & if i didnt sign up for that carnival thingy which turned out to be soccer ( i thought it was carnival as in sell food & games carnival. lol) i wouldnt be playing soccer then i couldnt start the girls soccer cca in HIHS then i wouldnt be joining nats then i wouldnt be able to go vj and ya.

just wanna thank so so so much for His favour in my life. as in like, even the top student in my sch cant make it to vj( no offense. just trying to make my point that god is really amazing!)

okay! this is for aris ( why you no taggie on you blog??) who wants to know how my first day of school started.
7:15 met the soccer girls
7:30 went to register
8: report to the performance hall and the P gave a talk/other teachers gave a talk/comfirm subject combi
9: report to the hall & orientation started. - ice breakers and blah blah
BUT, i missed half of orientation cos i had to go to some briefing for all sports DSA
and i had training. so guess what... i missed almost half of the whole of orientation! LOL

we got 63 pple to write their names down for soccer during cca walk about. lol.
and my class has only boys! lol.poor boys. PS, they are really weird.

and sorry to my faithful readers. i've not been blogging cos i've been reaching home at like 10 plus everyday. was at suntec yesterday cos VJC had massdance there. anw, i just wanna tell all my dear 16yrolds turning 17 yrold friends...... COME TO VJC!!!!!

our buzz grp went to eat zhicha. my girls couldnt decide what to eat so i ended up ordering for them. tsk. and i felt so sick during watchnight la! my nose was running and i had fever. ok. so we watched HSM2 extended edition! till like 5am and then we went to bed.

PS: i still cant believe it's o8 and that sch is starting tmr and i havent pack my secondary books and i'm turning 17 quite soon. nooooo....

hello friends! yay. okay many thanks for all your concern. anws, i tell you something super funny. yest the lower sec leaders had some planning and then i gel. suppose to write one embarassing moment. anw, lemme tell you mine. long long ago. ok. not too long when i was still staying at evergreen park, still in cross country. mr toh used to fetch me to trainings. ( training is at punggol park. just 10 mins walk away. but lazy la and mr toh is such a nice teacher. lol) his car is like somewhat gold in colour. so i saw this car coming and it looks like mr toh's car. so as it was turning in it stop cause there was a car in front.i tried to open the door but it was lock. so i looked into the car and pointed at the door. tried to open again but it was lock. then i look in again and that fella was pointing at me like a beng point at you like that. and you know what.. duh! its not mr toh.. hahahaa. ok so malu la.

okay. hello all my fellow loyal readers.
life hasnt been easy going. i'm still tired from yesterday's training. i had like 3 trainings yesterday. morning,aft & night. but that's not the point. niways,
i'm just so stress and scared how things are gonna turn out. i dont know how am i gonna manage nats and vj and ministry. i just hope oct will come soon and i will finially hang my boots for nats.

while talking to coach yest, i almost broke down in front of him. i really dont know what else i could do at that point of time. i dont like being bounded to vj. it feels as if i really owe them something. really am worn out. each day i wake up, look at the amount of things i have to do and i really start to freak out. so far, i had only like 1 free day throughout my entire holiday. it feels like i'm standing alone at the cross road.(it doesnt help that i have to pick up hockey)

i have been so tired and stress and really in need of a friend. sometimes, i feel i lack encouragement. but then nat was over the other day and she found a letter that vj coach sent.
"Dear joan,
.... although things have hit a hiccup during prelims, do cont to be patient and have faith. as the saying goes, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT. ..........in the mean time, i hope you stay founded and dont let up! im sure that god will help you through this time. all the best and never give up! "

i just really am speechless. because i'm thankful that god has provided me with all the necessary things in life. it doesnt matter if i dont have the best or the latest all whatever is in. i'm just grateful for the little but big things.
